Cutting Edge Bolts, SAE Grade 8 Alloy, Dome Head with Grade 8 Nuts by Bucyrus Blades, recommended to keep cutting edges tight, help prevent breakage. Grade 8, alloy steel, heat-treated highest SAE grade for cutting edge bolts. Dome Head provides more metal topside to lessen "dishing" wear which weakens the sidewall of the head and permits the cutting edge to loosen, perhaps to break. Long square neck prevents turning and insures positive cutting edge mounting. Ideal working grip lengths provide strongest possible clamp load and shear protection.

Hex Nuts, Grade 8 Alloy, are forged through the induction heat-forming process, have full carbon content even at the tips of the threads. Precision threads are designed to pull the full strength of Bucyrus Blades bolts.

Grade 8 Hex Nuts are identified with six marks on top as shown.

Spring Lock Washers are also available.
