 KENNAMETAL, INC
 C10 Series Bits and Blocks

Quick change

Quickly reduces asphalt or concrete milling cost-per-ton. A Base welds onto your drum, and a Holder containing a Kennametal bit bolts into this base; if you hit a buried obstruction, the holder breaks away…but by inserting a new holder and bit, you can continue planing at the same attack angle. Eliminates field welding to replace damaged blocks. Base can be easily welded using 7018 low hydrogen rod or equivalent wire.

QC110 B base

QC110H holder

C10HD block

Extra-heavy duty design. Accepts all C10 bits. Block must be raised to allow clearance at rear if C3R style bit is to be used. Easily welded with 7018 or 8018 low-hydrogen rod or equivalent wire.

C10H block

Heavy-duty design (has machined step for nonrotating tools). Accepts all C10 bits with the exception of C3R. Can be welded the same as the C10HD block.

C10 block

Has a narrower face than C10H style. Accepts all C10 bits. Block must be raised to allow clearance at rear if a C3R style is to be used. Welds same as C10H block.

C10AM block

Block has two pins to ensure accurate location during drum retooling. Base, with mating holes for block pins, welds onto drum. Welds the same as C10HD.

C10LG block

Block has two pins to ensure accurate location during drum rebuilding. Has ½" higher gage that C10AM block. Uses same Base as C10AM but must be reversed to ensure good weld support. Unique design of block gives more steel in higher wear areas and helps protect weld areas form wear. ( Be sure to check for proper clearances in drum housing, especially gage cutters, before installation.) Welds the same as C10HD.
